Amber and I both are school nurses at an elementary school. A few weeks ago, a first grade student had a medical emergency in his classroom. It was sudden and could have resulted in death. Amber was calm, assessed the situation and knew exactly what to do, but that night she text me and said it was the scariest she’s ever been. The student had emergency brain surgery and is now in rehab, but is on the way to a full recovery. Thanks Amber for all you do and I’m glad to be your coworker! Love ya, Connie
