There’s a new service that uses Artificial Intelligence to take old still photos and animate them. What this means is that you can take photographs of long-dead relatives that you never even met and bring them to life for a few seconds.
It’s absolutely creepy and groovy at the same time.
The program doesn’t take Great Great Grandma Inez’s photo and make her dance around the room–that’s more of a big budget Hollywood movie effect. But it does take their “head shot” and have them blinking and smiling and looking around the room.
