So honestly
you can’t read this blog with any consistency and not know how much I love food
(unless this is literally your first time stopping by – thanks btw). Eating is no doubt one of my favorite
things. Most of the time I try to eat
healthy, but I’m also human and that is not always the case. Of course we’re not always in the best mood
when we eat either (thanks to hunger), but I’ve noticed there are certain foods
that put me in a good mood. So I went
digging and found an article about eating your way to happiness! There are some foods like chocolate and
berries which act similarly to valporic acid, a common mood-stabilizing drug. “The large body of evidence
that chemicals in chocolate, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, teas and
certain foods could well be mood-enhancers encourages the search for other mood
modulators in food,” says Karina Martinez-Mayorga. Obviously our food is never a substitute for
medicine, but it can be a quick pick- you-up if you choose the right ones. By the way this article comes to us from
Cosmo and offers up 10 foods to boost your good mood:
1. Dark chocolate
Why it's a mood-booster: Dark chocolate–but not milk chocolate–helps reduce
anxiety and depression.
2. Salmon

low energy and mood swings.

but also avocado is great for your skin, hair and nails.

system.
8. Green tea

raspberries help reduce stress and ease depression.

stuff to pack my pantry so be sure to join the convo over on Facebook! As always thanks for stopping by my blog
today, and it’s my hope you have a fantastic weekend! – Butter
