MALAYSIAN PLANE LATEST
Investigators say the missing Malaysian airliner is likely in the southern Indian Ocean. The conclusion comes after countries along what would have been the plane's possible northern path found no signs the jet passed through their airspace.

THAI OFFICIALS HAD INFO ABOUT MISSING PLANE, BUT DIDN'T REPORT IT.
Thailand's military said yesterday that its radar DID detect a plane that may have been Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 just minutes after the jetliner's communications went down, but... that it didn't share the information with Malaysia earlier because it wasn't specifically asked for it.

CHILD PORN RING BUSTED. TELL YOUR KIDS ABOUT THIS SCAM!
THIS could be a teachable moment with your children. Not everyone online is who they appear to be. Investigators just arrested fourteen men for running an online porn operation that stretched across numerous states and several countries. Some of the the victims put their photos online willingly because the men posed as girls online, and talked the little boys into posting photos of themselves. The guy who started it, and taught the other men how to evade law enforcement, and what to say to lure in victims, is 27 year old Jonathan Johnson of Louisiana. He faces 20 years to life in prison if convicted. (Goes to court March 27th)

DRINK NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER FOR BETTER SLEEP
You probably know that alcohol can wreck your sleep. Non-alcoholic beer, on the other hand, might not only help you fall asleep faster, but also sleep more soundly throughout the night. Researchers think it's the hops in the beer that act like a sedative.
(A study conducted in Spain evaluated 17 nurses' sleep using a wrist sensor. During the week the women drank one non-alcoholic beer an hour before bed, they fell asleep an average of 12 minutes faster, had less tossing and turning during sleep, and reported having less anxiety. (beer with alcohol can put you to sleep, but it can also make you wake up in the middle of the night)

Credit cards that were stolen from the purse of a 74 year old woman, as she was inside a funeral home making arrangements for her mother's funeral. She says she had put the purse into the trunk of her car, but it apparently didn't close well. Police think these may be the same guys who've been burglarizing cars from Nashville to Goodlettsville.  See their photos at the link above.

FEW HAVE ANYTHING TUCKED AWAY FOR RETIREMENT
If you don't have anything put away for retirement, you're like MOST people. A new survey finds 36% of us have less than $1,000 in savings and investments that could be used for retirement...( apart from their 401 K or pension plan at work, which will not be enough.) 60% of workers have less than $25,000. But, experts say, people who've calculated what they'll need to save, DO tend to have more than those who haven't even crunched the numbers.

An age old health and beauty regimen has become the talk of the Internet. "Oil Pulling." It involves swishing oil around in your mouth once a day. Usually it's a teaspoon of coconut oil, and it's supposed to improve gum disease, toothaches, headaches, acne, eczema, sleep issues, allergies and whiten your teeth. Many people swear by it, though there are no long-term scientific studies out about it. It's worth nothing that Deepak Chopra endorses the practice in his book Perfect Health.

TODAY IS ANNUAL KICK BUTTS DAY
Thousands of kids are asking elected officials to help America stop smoking, as part of the annual Kick Butts Day.   Fifty years ago, the first Surgeon General's Report on smoking and health revealed the dangers of cigarette smoking, but a new Surgeon General's report says smoking is even more dangerous than we thought.
Organized by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Kick Butts Day is a day that young people encourage their peers to stay tobacco-free and educate their communities about the tobacco industry’s harmful marketing practices.
Each year, smoking kills 480,000 people in the U.S. and costs the nation at least $289 billion in health care and other costs.
