Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says Iraq's prime minister needs to go. Clinton said Tuesday that Nouri al-Maliki is only making the situation worse as Iraq lurches toward civil war. Meantime, President Obama will meet with congressional leaders on the growing crisis in Iraq later today.

STUDY: KIDS GAIN MORE WEIGHT OVER SUMMER BREAK
This doesn't come as a surprise, but just being aware of it could help parents keep their kids healthier. A new study finds kids gain weight more quickly over the summer months than during the school year. The researchers blame more junk food, a MORE sedentary lifestyle, with kids in front of the tv and computer screens, and poor sleep schedules.
MAN ARRESTED FOR THROWING DRUG-FILLED FOOTBALL INTO PRISON
Note to self: If you're gonna try to throw a football loaded with drugs into a prison so your buddies can have their dope, make sure you get it over the fence. A Detroit guy just got arrested for his sad little throw, that landed just far enough inside that the guards could walk over and pick it up. He's now facing felony charges.

TOMATOES AS CAR PARTS
Here we go, into the future, with ketchup? Heinz ends up with a lot of extra tomato parts after making ketchup: a lot of tomato stems, seeds and skins. So Heinz has teamed up with Ford Motor Company to find ways to turn tomato leftovers into auto parts. They'll try to use them for things like little wiring brackets or even the bins that hold coins in your car console.
SELFIE TREND MOTIVATES MANY TO KEEP IN SHAPE
Whether you love them or hate them, selfies are doing something good for our health. They're making many of us try harder to stay in shape, and looking good enough to take a selfie whereEVER we are. Because of that, however, about one in three of us think selfies are just other people bragging about their looks.
MAN RESCUES BABY ON THE ROAD
Talk about being in the right place at the right time! A Georgia man was driving down the highway and saw something moving on the road as he approached the bridge. It was a 15 month old girl, who'd wandered away from home. Mom and dad were arrested, the baby is fine.
WOMAN RESCUES CAT THEN NEEDS RESCUE, HERSELF
Another rescue didn't go so well. In Pennsylvania a lady who was trying to be a good samaritan, and climbed on top of her roof then into a tall, tall, tall tree to rescue a kitty who'd been trapped for two days... says she looked down after she got the cat... and realized there was no WAY she was gonna get back down on her own! Long story short: Firefighters to the rescue. Both lady and her little feline buddy are fine. '
METRO POLICE CHIEF WRITES SCATHING MEMO THAT RAISES QUESTIONS ABOUT VIOLENT OFFENDER
A scathing memo from Metro Police Chief Steve Anderson has been getting a lot of attention. The chief is upset that a prominent Nashville developer accused of beating up his girlfriend, was let out of jail early, and went straight back and beat her again.
Chief Anderson's seven-page memo blasts General Sessions Court Judge Casey Moreland and others for letting David Chase out of jail before his mandatory 12-hour cooling off period was over. Court documents showed after Chase was let out the first time he returned home, surprised his girlfriend who was trying to pack her things and leave, and attacked her again. Chase has been developing the new Virgin Hotel planned for Music Row, but all this could make him lose that job. Someone in Judge Moreland's office told NewsChannel 5 he cannot comment pending the investigation.
DR. OZ GRILLED OVER WEIGHT LOSS CLAIMS
Used to be, when Dr. Oz said it, you could take it to the bank. This week, however, the host of "The Dr. Oz Show" is being grilled by senators on Capitol Hill who are looking into weight loss scams, and who say Dr. Oz has been promoting products that don't have scientific proof to back them.
In May the Federal Trade Commission sued the sellers of Green Coffee Beans for deceiving consumers through fake news sites and invented health claims. And then, after Dr Oz talked about the product and basically endorsed it, the company used a video clip of that to boost sales. Dr. Oz says he'll reword his claims, and will post a list of things he believes actually lead to weight loss.
What keeps a lot of people from riding scooters or bikes is that they take up a lot of space, so they're hard to carry onto buses, put into cars, etc. But a 22 year old college student has come up with an adult scooter that folds up into the size of a standard letter-sized piece of paper and weighs only 11 pounds. They're working on gbetting them into the hands, and maybe even purses, of the public.

Jason Segel is okay with getting naked in his movies. But, he's just admitted that his mother is not so cool with it. He forgot to tell her about his full frontal shot in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and she saw it, and started CRYING. She then sent out a mass email to the family, warning them that his privates would be right there, in their faces, so-to-speak.
