GENEROUS PATRON LEAVES HUGE TIPS
In Ogden, Utah, employees at a couple of bars have gotten HUGE tips this month on bar tabs! On Saturday, a server got a $5,000 tip on a $214.75 tab. The next night, a man left a $1,000 tip on a $49 tab at another bar. My first thought was, 'that's so generous!' My second thought was, "this person had spent 214 dollars in a bar. THEN left a 5000 dollar tip. Wonder what HE thought the next morning when he woke up and looked at that receipt!"
(The $1,000 tip was split between three bartenders and one server. The bartender could have kept it, but chose to share.)

RURAL KY FAMILIES SAY THEY DON'T LIKE  HEALTHY SCHOOL LUNCHES
Some of our neighbors in Kentucky are unhappy about what's in their children's school lunches, and they're being very vocal about it. The meals are made to meet new USDA Guidelines, so they have less fat, less salt, and a maximum of 850 calories, skim or one percent milk, and WHEAT instead of white bread. Some kids in Harlan County, Kentucky told their parents it 'tastes like vomit,' and the parents are raising Cain with the school board, saying their children are coming home hungry, because they're not getting enough food. Reportedly the children can have all the fruits and veggies they want, but they're not THAT hungry. ( The meals follow the guidelines of the "Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010." Michelle Obama has been supporting the plan and encouraging kids to eat better.)

This is the second big strike for the virus, which was the chief agent behind a wave of infections that struck bottlenose dolphins between June 1987 and March 1988, killing more than 700 animals before just ending.  Some had feared some sort of foul play, or pollution killing the animals.
