TN. MAN ARRESTED ON COUNTS OF CHILD RAPE
I have a story that I need to tell you about that I HATE to have to report. It's hard to hear, it's hard to report, but you need to know it's HAPPENING, and I hope you'll click the link to take a look at the suspect's photo. We all need to remember that it's NORMAL-LOOKING PEOPLE you may encounter everyday, who are hurting CHILDREN, so we can recognize it when we see it, and not think, "He doesn't look like he'd do that."   A 31 year old Clarksville man has been arrested for raping a 7 year-old girl, and he's allegedly been doing it for TWO YEARS and either no one realized it, or just didn't report it. William Reed has now been charged.

"NASHVILLE" NEEDS EXTRAS

WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF PHONE NUMBERS
How many phone numbers do you have in your household? Four, five, six? Because most of us have so many phone numbers, we're running out of new ones. The 615 area code, for example, is shared by 16 counties. The Tennessee Regulatory Authority says it needs to create a new one, and either switch some people who have the 615 code to the new one, or make all the new phone users use the new one. If that happens, we'll have to program our phones to dial the ten-digit phone numbers for everyone, even if it's someone next door. You can read more about it, and give your input on the matter, at www.tn.gov/tra

CAR-MA HITS FORMER CAREER CAR THIEF
A former car thief has now become the victim of the crime that he used to commit more than four decades ago. Clayton "Rabbit" Veach finally got out of prison in 2005, and now, the 72 year old has had his own car, a 1994 Z-28 Camaro, stolen from him. A reporter asked how it felt to be the victim of a car theft, himself. Veach said, "It's kind of sad."

WHAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH DETERMINES WHAT GOES IN
Watch what comes out of your mouth: it'll help determine what goes in! In a study in the Journal of Consumer Research, 80 percent of women stuck with their diets by saying, "I do not eat that" to temptations, while only 10 percent succeeded using, "I can't eat that. " Remember that: I DO not, rather than I CAN'T. DO NOT signals a commitment, can't means, "I want to, I'm being deprived," and, "I WILL when I CAN."  Study author Vanessa Patrick, Ph.D., of the University of Houston says it also works that way even if it's just your internal dialogue.

GOOGLE SAYS GMAIL NOT PRIVATE
This is not going to make you happy if you have Gmail. Google is telling a federal court that people who use its popular Gmail service canNOT expect privacy for their messages. Get this: Google compared their email practices to an assistant who opens and reads email for a supervisor.

SUGAR IS TOXIC TO MICE, EVEN IN MODERATE DOSES
This is going to make all those FANATICS who say they don't eat ANY sugar... seem a lot less extreme. Scientists say, in mice at least, that sugar, even at moderate levels, is TOXIC. They did a study and found that the mouse equivalent of just three sugary sodas a day... even with a completely perfect, pristine diet and lifestyle otherwise, cut the mouse's life in HALF. And.. the sugar-fed males sex lives were affected, and they were less likely to be able to hold territory and reproduce.

DRUG DEALER CALLS POLICE WHEN HIS WEED AND DRUG MONEY IS STOLEN
Cops in Murfreesboro just arrested a 19 year old recently because he called them to report his safe had been stolen. They asked what was in it and he told them, his pot and his drug money! Cops found the safe, he identified it, and had to turn LOOSE of some of his drug money then to get out of jail. He'll also have to give up some of it for costs and lawyer's fees later on.

CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT'S A LITTLE TOO FAST?
Dominoes Pizza and other companies are used to getting complaints online, and dealing with them really quickly. BUT, someone at the pizza company actually dealt with one online posting a little TOO quickly. It was a woman PRAISING her pizza. She wrote, "Best Pizza Ever! Pan Pizza. Smiley face! Keep up the good work guys!" Domino's lightning fast  response? "So sorry about that! Please share some additional information with us, so we can have this taken care of." (DOH!)

AOL CEO APOLOGIZES FOR PUBLICLY FIRING EMPLOYEE
The CEO of AOL is apologizing for the way he fired an employee during a conference call.  CEO Tim Armstrong was talking with more than 1000 employees about strategy changes for its stuggling "Patch" news service... when he suddenly stopped, mid-sentence, and said, “Abel, put that camera down right now! Abel, you’re fired. Out!” Armstrong has apologized for doing it that way, but says Abel will NOT get his job back. He'd been warned about video recording private meetings before.
