SECOND PERSON CHARGED, THIRD EXPECTED TO BE, IN HOLLY BOBO CASE
A 2nd person has been charged in the Holly Bobo case. Jason Autry is now charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and first degree felony murder. There are reports that prosecutors plan to indict at least one more person in the case: Shayne Austin, who had been granted immunity from prosecution for his cooperation in the investigaiton. The state voided the immunity agreement because Austin was not completely truthful and forthcoming.
FRANKLIN NEEDS CHEAPER HOUSING TO SURVIVE
A new study says if Franklin wants to continue to grow, they're going to have to build some cheaper housing, so workers like police officers, teachers and firefighters can afford to live there. The study isn't recommending throwing up shacks, but says there needs to be a focus on building homes in the $250,000 dollar price range. That's about HALF of what a mid-priced house in Franklin usually costs. (Fewer than 8,000 people who work in Franklin can afford to live there, too. More than 40 thousand have to commute in.
DID VANDY COACH CONTACT RAPE VICTIM?
Former Vandy football player Brandon Vandenburg's defense attorney is asking a judge to dismiss a rape case against Vandenburg, because of evidence the defense says was destroyed, including some that may prove that former Vandy head coach James Franklin contacted the rape victim four days after the alleged incident. Franklin says he didn't do anything wrong.
Vandenburg, Brandon Banks, Cory Batey and Jaborian "Tip" McKenzie are each charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery, they've all been kicked off Vandy's football team, and are all out on bond.

TIN ANGEL ENDS LUNCH/BRUNCH
After 21 years, Tin Angel on West End is ending its lunch and brunch service and just expanding dinner service to seven nights a week. The owners say the daytime service just wasn't working mainly because of limited street parking available to the lunch crowd.Lunch service will end on May 9 and the final brunch will be served on May 11, Mother's Day.
NBA BANS CLIPPERS OWNER FOR LIFE
Banned for life. That's the punishment the NBA is handing down to Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for making racist comments. He is also being fined two-and-a-half million dollars. An audio recording was leaked over the weekend in which Sterling is heard telling his girlfriend not to associate publicly with African-Americans or bring them to Clippers games.
HALF OF US SAY U.S. SHOULD SCALE BACK IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Nearly half of all Americans say the U.S. should play a smaller role in world affairs. The latest NBC News/"Wall Street Journal" poll out today finds 47-percent of people surveyed say America should scale back its activity in foreign affairs.
KENTUCKY DERBY IS SATURDAY
The post position draw for Saturday's Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs takes place this afternoon. The first leg of horse racing's Triple Crown is scheduled to go at 6:24 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday in Louisville. California Chrome is the morning line favorite.
NEW LAW FOR PREGNANT MOMS WHO ABUSE DRUGS AND HURT THEIR BABIES
Tennessee women who use drugs while pregnant can be criminally charged for harm done to their babies. Governor Bill Haslam signed the law into effect to start July 1, and says the intent of the bill is to let mothers-to-be avoid criminal charges IF they get into one of the state's treatment programs, instead of giving birth to a baby who's been harmed by mom's drug abuse.
TUNA CAUGHT OFF WEST COAST HAS RADIOACTIVITY FROM FUKUSHIMA
We're now seeing what experts expected to happen: radioactive tuna from the 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown. Tuna caught off the coast of Oregon and Washington state are registering three times the amount of radioactivity as before the event. BUT, researchers say that's still just a trace amount, so no reason right now to be alarmed. (The Fukushima meltdown occurred after an earthquake and tsunami in March of 2011. )
FOOD POISONING HITS FOOD SAFETY SUMMIT
This is just adding insult to injury. More than 100 people attending a summit on food safety in Maryland came down with food poisoning. No word yet what caused the outbreak.

America's Next Top Model winner Whitney Thompson says she's going to open a restaurant in downtown Springfield, Tennessee. The 26-year-old was the first and only plus-size model to win the show... back in 2008.
"NASHVILLE" STAR IDENTIFIES WITH KIDS AT ST. JUDE
You may have seen photos of Clare Bowen from TV series "Nashville" taking part in the St. Jude's Marathon post-race concert from this past weekend. Clare says it's because facilities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital have a special place in her heart, since she had cancer as a child.
WILLIE NELSON CELEBRATES 81ST BIRTHDAY WITH 5TH-DEGREE BLACK BELT
Is singer Willie Nelson the Betty White of music? Willie just turned 81 yesterday. And the day before that, was he chillin' at the spit and whittle bench at the park? Nooo. Willie was getting his fifth-degree black belt in martial arts. And he has a new album out in June. And he was just inducted into another hall of ame last weekend. Happy Birthday Willie Nelson.
OFFICIAL STAR WARS 7 CAST ANNOUNCED, INCLUDES VETERAN ACTORS
The official announcement has been made about the cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII."
Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford will again play Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo, and the same actors who played Chewbaca, R2D2 and C3P0 in the old series, will be back for this one. "Star Wars: Episode VII" comes out Dec. 18th of NEXT year. (2015.)
MIDAIR COLLISION BETWEEN SKYDIVERS
One man is dead after a midair collision between two experienced skydivers in San Joaquin County, California. Various reports say one of the skydivers had an equipment malfunction and may have lost consciousness, causing him to spin out of control yesterday.
FEDEX GUNMAN FATHER SAYS HE'S SHOCKED AT SON'S ACTIONS
The father of the gunman who allegedly opened fire at a FedEx facility outside Atlanta Tuesday says he's shocked and devastated by his son's actions. Police say 19-year-old Geddy Kramer shot six co-workers before killing himself. The father, Scott Kramer, released a statement saying the family expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims and their families.
OKLAHOMA INMATE DIES
An Oklahoma inmate scheduled to be executed Tuesday night is dead -- of a heart attack. Clayton Lockett's execution by lethal injection was halted because of "vein failure." A prison official says Lockett later died of a massive heart attack.
