MIDDLE TENNESSEE ENDANGERED CHILD ALERT
There's an endangered child alert this morning for a 15 year old girl out of Lewisburg. The TBI is asking you to look outfor Jessica Parham... She was last seen at her mother's house last Friday night. She's white, 5'5", 170 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes. You can see her picture HERE, as well as other missing children to keep an eye out for. You're asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND if you see her.
CASTING CALL FOR "NASHVILLE" EXTRAS
If you're free today, they need extras for a concert scene in the Nashville TV series. They're shooting at the War Memorial Auditorium, doors open at 8:30. You have to be 18 or older for this one, and they say they're looking for 'denim and diamonds' kind of dress. You must pre-register though, at www.nashvilleextras.com
JOB FAIR TODAY AT GOODWILL CAREER SOLUTIONS CENTER IN DONELSON
There are a couple of job fairs today. One is at the Goodwill Career center in Donelson, 10 to 2, they're filling warehouse positions for a company in Wilson County.

VIDEO GAMES IMPROVE MOTOR, MEMORY SKILLS

Another new study finds video games help people 60 to 80 increase eye-hand coordination, good for driving, memory and even multi-tasking skills. They improved to levels of 20 year olds after the over 60 group played the video games every day for a month. (A new study out of UCSF in Northern California.)
VANDY COACH ADDRESSES ALLEGATIONS HE KNEW ABOUT ALLEGED RAPE
Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin has denied allegations that he helped cover up a rape committed by four of his players. During a weekly press conference, Franklin addressed the BuzzFeed story, which alleged that Franklin encouraged one of the players to delete a video of the alleged rape, saying, "It's a very, very serious issue, and I'm not going to waste your time or mine reacting to baseless statements."
METRO SCHOOLS CALENDAR COULD BE SET TONIGHT
The Metro School Board meets tonight... and is supposed to approve a new school calendar... which would take effect next year. The Schools Director is asking the board to add five days to the year, and to keep the calendar constant instead of changing it every year. We'll let you know how that turns out.
NASHVILLE WAITTRESS SAYS CUSTOMER WROTE RACIAL SLUR ON HER RECEIPT
A waittress at the Red Lobster in Franklin has been taken OFF the job, while the company investigates an alleged racial slur the waittress says was targeted at her, by a customer. Belmont University nursing student Toni Jenkins says she waited on a table of two for lunch, and when she picked up the receipt... in the TIP line, it said, 'None,' and in the line for 'total amount,' she found the N-word. Jenkins says she was stunned and hurt, and eventually posted her story on Facebook, where it went viral. The customer denies writing the racial slur.. so Red Lobster says it's trying to get to the bottom of what happened as quickly as possible.
FORMER CHAPPY'S RESTAURANT WORKERS SAY THEY'RE OWED, AS CHAPPY STARTS ANEW IN OTHER STATE
Some former employees of Chappy's Restaurant On Church street in Nashville say they're still owed money. One former manager has been picketing at the site, saying what frustrates her is that although Chappy's just closed the doors, said they couldn't pay bills, and left at least 18 workers UNPAID, she found out that John "Chappy" Chapman is now opening up a new restaurant in New Orleans.
MCDONALD'S TESTING FAMILY-SIZE MEAL BOXES
It's worked for chicken restaurants, so why not family value meals for other fast food joints? McDonald's is testing a great big family-size dinner box as part of a promotion with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. McDonald's says that the box is a local promotion with the Chiefs, but.. speculation is that it's also a test for a potential new menu item. big box of burgers
GEORGE ZIMMERMAN RELEASED AFTER QUESTIONING
George Zimmerman was taken into custody, then released without charges after his wife called 9-1-1 Monday to say Zimmerman threatened to shoot her and her father and punched his father-in-law in the nose. Police, however, say there was no gun, and Zimmerman claimed he was acting in self defense. Neither Shellie Zimmerman nor her father would file charges, so Zimmerman was released. His wife filed for divorce earlier this month, just two months after George was acquitted on murder charges related to the 2012 death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.
APPLE UNVEILS NEW IPHONE TODAY (TUESDAY)
Speculation is growing in anticipation of Apple's scheduled iPhone announcement today. Among the rumors in circulation are a new iPhone 5C that's expected to cost less than 300 dollars and come in a variety of brightly colored plastic cases. Apple is also set to hold a second press conference Wednesday to announce an arrangement with a Chinese service provider that could reach more than 700 million potential customers.
GEORGE STRAIT SETS DATE FOR FINAL NASHVILLE CONCERT
March 21, 2014. That's the date for George Strait's final concert in Nashville. The country legend announced the second and final leg of the "Cowboy Rides Away" tour. The first 21 shows were all sellouts, and you can bet the final 26 will be, too. Tickets for Strait's last Nashville show will be on sale Sept. 27.

DECAL OF TIED, KIDNAPPED WOMAN CAUSES STIR IN TEXAS
A tailgate decal on the back of a truck that shows a woman tied up and gagged is causing a stir in Texas, and a business owner says it's just good business. At first glance, the illusion from the decal is so convincing that it really does appear that there is a woman in the back of the truck, and some people called 9-1-1. The owner of Hornet Signs in Waco, the company that made the sign, said the sticker was put on an employee's truck to gauge how realistic their decals are. And he says there's no such thing as bad publicity because orders are up!
TICKET PRICES SOARING FOR MANNING FAMILY MATCHUP GAME
The latest Manning Family Reunion will cost fans plenty to attend. The best seats for this weekend's matchup between the Denver Broncos and New York Giants are hitting the four-thousand-dollar range. Quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning will go head to head for the first time since Peyton signed with Denver before last season.
"NEW" VAN GOGH ADDED TO MUSEUM
The Van Gogh Museum has a "new" piece of art that's 125-years-old. "Sunset at Montmajour" [[ moan-ma-ZHOUR ]] was painted during the height of the Vincent Van Gogh's career in 1888, but had remained virtually unknown until two years ago. The Amsterdam museum revealed the painting today and will put it on display later this month.
