MYSTERY PRIEST COMES FORWARD
That mystery priest has been found! Remember the priest who showed up at a crash scene, prayed with the 19 year old girl as she was trapped in tghe car, gave everyone a sense of calm, and seemingly vanished? Well, he's been found. Turns out he spoke to emergency rescuers, and gave someone his phone number, but in the excitement of the rescue it got lost. Some people had believed the way he appeared just when he was needed, and disappeared, meant he was an angel. Instead, the Mystery Priest is Reverend Patrick Dowling. Father Dowling.
DOCTORS GROUP RECOMMENDS NO TV FOR KIDS UNDER 2
Will any parents actually DO this, or is it too extreme? The American Academy of Pediatrics now says kids two and older should watch no more than two hours of television per day... ALL kids.. no more than two hours. Although children are switching more from TV to computer, they're still spending more than 7 hours a day in front of the tube. The Doctors' group also recommends that children UNDER two watch NO television at all. A new study finds even one hour a day can diminish a preschooler's vocabulary, math skills and classroom attention.

HEALTH: INDUCING LABOR MAY INCREASE CHANCE OF AUTISTIC BABY
You know how you've heard people ask, "Why are there so many more cases of autism these days than there were years ago?" A new study says INDUCING or AUGMENTING labor could increase a baby's risk of having autism by 13% to 16%. That's a HUGELY important finding, since nearly one in four births are induced. If a mother had both methods used on her, the child was 27 percent more likely to be diagnosed with autism during childhood.
GALLATIN MAN ON MISSION TO GET BACK PET RACCOON Remember the Raccoon dancing guy, Mark Brown of Gallatin? His pet raccoon has been taken away from him by Tennessee Wildlife Resource Officers. It's against the law to have captive wildlife and TWRA is required to confiscate it if they know about it. Since his youtube videos and TV appearances, they found out, and confiscated his new little female he called Rebekah. She's the little raccon you may have seen in a video, sitting on Mark's shoulder, soaking wet, while he takes a shower. Brown says he's broken-hearted. Rebekah Raccoon is okay, she's at Walden's Puddle, a wildlife rehab and educational center. Brown has a petition going and is hoping the Tennesse Governor will give him, as he calls it, a pardon. MINOR EARTHQUAKE IN TN
Did you feel it? We had a little earthquake in West Tennessee yesterday afternoon around 4:45. It was a magnitude-3.3 earthquake...which means it was weak, and didn't cause any damage.
NOTHING HAZARDOUS FOUND AT EVACUATED BUILDING
The whole 12th floor of the Davy Crockett Tower on James Robertson in downtown Nashville was evacuated yesterday after workers complained of a strange, chemical-like odor. Two were treated on the scene. Turns out it was a perfume spray.
FREE TUITION OFFERED TO HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS HEADED TO COLLEGE
Mayor Karl Dean has announced a new program that'll let high school seniors in Davidson County head to community college or technical school for free. There are stipulations: the kids have to apply for all federal money available to them, attend one-on-one mentorship and do community service each semester.

Golfer Jason Dufner is known for his unflappable demeanor on the golf course. He took it a little farther in a classroom, and the result is a new viral meme. Dufner was sitting in a classroom with children for a charity event when he leaned against a wall and zoned out for a minute. The photo of him doing what's now being called "Dufnering" has gone viral, and lots of celebrities are doing it, and posting their photos online. In the original Dufner, dressed in a red golf shirt, is shown slouched against the wall with a blank look on his face, hands down at his sides, legs straight out in front of him. Dufner said about the Dufnering craze: "I was tired, my back hurt, and we were talking about relaxing and focusing, and I just checked out for about 30 seconds." MOTIVATED STUDENT TURNED AWAY FROM SENIOR YEAR BECAUSE OF AGE
A Lawrence County father says he got a surprising response when he tried to enroll his 18-year-old daughter for her senior year of high school. Michael Word says the guidance counselor at Lawrenceburg High told her that she was too old to enroll in school. "It's just not fair," Michael Word said. Amber Word moved from Giles County to Lawrence County and was looking forward to all the things seniors get to do. The director of schools plans to meet with the family and review the case
TENNESSEE GIRL DROWNS IN SWIMMING POOL
We're still losing kids in swimming pool deaths... a 9-year-old Tennessee girl drowned Sunday afternoon after apparently getting into a fenced-in swimming pool at a home she and her father were visiting. (When her father found her he performed CPR … but she didn't make it. Detectives have ordered an autopsy, but say so far it looks like an accidental drowning.)

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION SUIT AGAINST PAULA DEEN DROPPED
The racial claims made in the lawsuit that brought down Paula Deen's empire have been dismissed. It was while Lisa Jackson's claims of racial discrimination were being investigated...that Deen's comments came out that she'd used racial slurs in the past.... and sponsors dropped her.

A new study supports the idea that near-death experiences are a real phenomenon. Researchers at the University of Michigan say the brain continues to be conscious after the heart stops beating... and that one in five people who've survived cardiac arrest report having internal visions and heightened perception.
SINKHOLE IN FLORIDA STABILIZED
A giant sinkhole that destroyed one of the buildings at the Summer Bay Resort near Florida's Disney World seems to have stabilized. Geologists were at the scene all day Monday, as the building and its 48 villas were nearly swallowed whole. There were no injuries.

An emergency room nurse at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center has won a million dollars in the singing competition... "The Winner Is..."
