300 Job Openings in Spring Hill - Hiring TODAY
Today from 9-11am TRG Customer Solutions is holding a hiring event for 300 job openings at a call center in Spring Hill. TRG Customer Solutions is hosting a hiring event for facility in Spring Hill. Mother Held For Neglect
A Clarksville mother was taken into police custody yesterday after a neighbor discovered her four-year-old daughter wandering around an apartment complex alone. A neighbor, reported the child was outside unattended and was almost struck by a passing vehicle.
Marathon For Sandy
An east Nashville running club is participating in a marathon Saturday morning in honor of the victims of Sandy Hook. The event, 26.4.26, organized by running enthusiast Robbie Bruce, will kick off at the Nashville Running Company at 8 a.m.
Dad Stands Guard For Daughter's West Nashville School
Jordan Pritchard, A former Marine and father of two decided to help ease his daughter's fears about Connecticut by standing guard outside her west Nashville school. He donned his uniform and has been standing guard since Monday. It has not only eased his daughter’s mind but parent’s too. And it’s urged others to volunteer like Army vet and dad David Pitt. They hope to organize other parent volunteers to help stand guard after the holiday break.

It’s common, and most children fight the virus just fine but some have such difficulty breathing they can’t get enough oxygen, breast feed or take a bottle. If your child’s condition worsens to this state or has a weakened immune system take them to the emergency room.
Prison Becomes Santa's Workshop
Middle TN inmates with Corrections Corporation of America have turned their woodworking shop at the prison into santa’s workshop. Enthusiastic and dedicated these men are creating doll houses and firehouses for area kids. They work as a team to make the season bright with Thursday morning deliveries for the children at Summit medical Ctr and the Fannie Battle Child Care Center.

"Dump" Dog Rescue Update
Mary Hord and the crew at Almost Home Animal Rescue in Rutherford County are rallying around Shiner the Weimaraner that was found barely alive in a landfill in West TN. He’s doing much better, thanks to the rescuers and donations through Facebook from all around the world.
Mental Health Gets Grant Funding in TN
Tennessee's Commissioner said community based mental health services may be the best way to provide services to areas that are under served. Tennessee treats around 250,000 people annually, but the number of people needing treatment could be much higher. Stigma keeps many from seeking help. According to the department about half of mental disorders begin before the age of 14 with about 20% of the world's children and teens dealing with one. The state is addressing the unmet need with the help of a four-year $4 million grant for a statewide system of care.
Drug Investigation in Antioch Home
Metro police, the meth task force and fire units were called to an Antioch home on Karen Ray Court last night to investigate possible drug activity. Several items were removed from the home, but no arrests were immediately made.
Nashville Newspaper Sues DCS For Information
The Tennessean newspaper, joined by a coalition of state media organizations, filed a lawsuit yesterday against the state Department of Children’s Services, alleging the agency is violating the law by refusing to make public the records of children who died after being brought to the agency’s attention.
