TROUBLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Secretary of State John Kerry is warning that the continuing chaos in Egypt is a blow to restoring peace and democracy in the country.  Another day of violence could flare up today, after more than 400 people were killed yesterday in bloody clashes between protesters and security forces working to end sit-ins by supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi [[ MORE-see ]].
And here's where OUR soldiers may get pulled in... a leading Republican senator is warning that continued violence in Egypt will hit Americans in the pocketbook... with skyrocketing oil prices. South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham says the only way to stop the bloodbath is for America to take a strong leadership role.

TENNESSEE MAN WITH 22 KIDS, IN COURT YESTERDAY TO TALK ABOUT CHILD SUPPORT
Orlando Shaw, the Nashville man who stains the image of fatherhood, was back in court yesterday. He's fathered 22 children by 14 different women, and isn't paying child support to any of them. He says his criminal record makes it hard for him to get work, though he manages to find enough cash for himself. He said recently, "I play the hell out of the Tennessee Lottery. I don't block my blessings!" In court yesterday, a judge ordered Orlando to submit 15 job applications every week till he finds a job or face jail time, and to pay each of his 22 children 5 dollars a week. Meanwhile, Shaw says he's signed a contract for a reality show. The judge says that's GREAT, since it's gonna take something like that to pay for those kids. In the meantime, it's costing Tennessee taxpayers about 7-thousand dollars a month to support them, since neither Shaw, nor the women who had the 22 kids, are stepping up and paying for them.

CLARKSVILLE POLICE CRIMEFIGHTING TOOL USELESS
An $80,000 crime-fighting tool in Clarksville is now basically scrap metal. The police department equipped four patrol cars with rooftop cameras, that can read license plates, send the info to computers, which search for things like Amber Alerts and wanted bulletins. GREAT technology. But, about a year ago the company that supported the software went out of business. Now the cameras are just useless, and Clarksville police are having to take their lumps and make a new plan.
