TORNADOES IN MISSOURI, SEVERE WEATHER MOVING TO SOUTHEAST
The Missouri Governor is touring the damage after tornadoes ripped through the state yesterday. At least two, and possibly three, tornados were confirmed around the St. Louis area, causing significant damage and leaving more than 40-thousand without power. In Arkansas, a tornado destroyed a church and injured three people. The governor of Missouri has declared a state of emergency.

Some of the airbags may not inflate in a crash. Even worse, there are a lot of older cars involved, so the companies are having to track down the owners.

NASHVILLE TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO HEROIN BUST
Isn't it fortunate that crooks are often not so bright?
A cop pulled over a rented Ford Taurus this week for following another vehicle too closely on I-40 in West Nashville, and found 10-thousand dollars worth of heroin. A 51 year-old Boston man was arrested, though he reportedly claimed he knew nothing about the 125 packets of drugs in his car trunk.
REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION ON HORSE SHOT, KILLED IN MADISON, TN.
This is so sad. People who have horses often love them like pets or family, so one local family is just devastated. Someone shot and killed their horse as it stood in their yard in Madison. Metro Animal control is investigating and there's a thousand-dollar reward being offered for information about the shooter.
FORMER METRO PRINCIPAL SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL BATTERY
Ronald Anderson, a former principal at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Antioch has been sentenced to three months in jail for sexual battery, for having an inappropriate relationship with a minor who he montored in 2009 at the Royal Life International Church.
TEXAS STABBING SUSPECT IN COURT TODAY
The man accused of carrying out a stabbing attack at a Texas college is supposed to be in court today. Dylan Quick reportedly told investigators he's been fantasizing about stabbing people since he was eight years old.
WOMAN WINS 40 MILLION, NOT 40 THOUSAND AS SHE’D THOUGHT
Toronto woman Maria Carreiro was thrilled to win 40-thousand dollars in the lottery last Friday night. She told everybody about her winning ticket! Yay!!! But, things changed. It turned out she’d made a mistake and hadn't won the 40-grand. The 51 year old had actually won 40 MILLION dollars! She’d overlooked a few zeros in her excitement.
Her husband says now that it's forty MILLION they've won, he's going to quit his job. Maria says she’s taking her whole family out to the local Chinese restaurant for all-you-can-eat!
