There's a new "docu-series" that's looking for moms and daughters who are pregnant, at the same time.
The casting directors say the show "will follow the exciting and dramatic journey of a mother and daughter who are pregnant at the same time! We want to share the amazing, the challenging, the funny, and the complicated moments in both of their lives; from the pregnancy through childbirth and everything in between." COOKEVILLE POLICE WARN OF 'GRANDCHILD CALLING' SCAM

Police in Cookeville are warning about a scam in which a caller pretends to be a grandchild in need of money. At least one guy outsmarted the would-be thief. The 90 year-old man got a call from someone claiming he was the man's grandson, he was in British Columbia and needed a couple grand to get home... the old fella hung up, GOOGLED that type of phone call and found it's a scam... he alerted police.
HEALTH: WEIGHT-LOSS SURGERY RESULTS IN FEWER HEART ATTACKS
A new Swedish study indicates obese people who have weight-loss surgery lower their risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. They're also less likely to die from one, compared to people who don't have the surgery. More than four-thousand obese people came under study. They were followed for more than a decade, on average, to determine how many of them suffered a heart attack or stroke. Some 199 who had bariatric surgery had their first heart attack or stroke and 28 died. That's compared to 234 people who did not have the surgery and suffered a heart attack or stroke, with close to 50 dying. Researchers say the results will help inform doctors and patients about the long-term consequences of the surgery. The finding are published in the "Journal of the American Medical Association."
HEALTH: CANCER DEATHS GOING DOWN
Advances in cancer screening and treatment have prevented more than a million deaths from cancer since the 1990s. The he American Cancer Society's annual report says the death rate from cancer has fallen every year for the past ten years.

A panel of Tennessee lawmakers unveiled maps of its redistricting proposal in a legislative hearing room yesterday. The once-a-decade redistricting plan follows the 2010 Census and reflects shifting population and political trends. The counties around Middle Tennessee saw huge growth in the last decade, so that means they would be getting extra representation in the House. Rutherford County picks up a seat that encompasses La Vergne, East Smyrna and part of Murfreesboro, including downtown. Williamson County will have a new seat covering Fairview, Thompson's Station and parts of Franklin. And there's a new seat in Nashville, one with a majority of black and Hispanic residents, possibly paving the way for a Latino lawmaker in the House.

Last night's Greg Allman concert at the Ryman got rowdy. Not just onstage. Two guys on the balcony got into a fight, and one of them chased down the other, and cut him in the forehead with a knife. 44-year-old Carl Brothers was arrested, his victim was treated and released.

WOMAN SUES HONDA SAYING MILEAGE IS NOT AS ADVERTISED

And a woman is getting national attention for taking her claim against Honda to small claims court. Heather Peters claims her 2006 Honda Civic hybrid doesn't get nearly the 50-miles per gallon that it advertises, and because of that actually defrauded her of much more than the 10-thousand dollar limit she can get in small claims court. A Honda representative says they clearly state that fuel economy will vary depending on how owners drive the car.

The University of Tennessee says it has turned information over to law enforcement for an investigation of former men's swimming and diving coach John Trembley. The finding of "gross misconduct" by Trembley which led to the 23-year coach's dismissal is part of an ongoing investigation, so they're still not commenting about what the misconduct was. The 59-year-old Trembley was just named the Southeastern Conference swimming coach of the year in 2011, the sixth time he's received that honor.
GLEN CAMPBELL PLAYS GOODBYE NASHVILLE SHOW AT RYMAN
Glen Campbell is saying goodbye to Nashville. The Country Music Hall of Famer received a standing ovation at the Ryman Auditorium Tuesday night for his final Nashville performance. He announced he has Alzheimier's disease last summer before starting on his "Goodbye Tour." Stars such as Tanya Tucker, Ralph Emery and Ricky Skaggs filled the front seats as Campbell performed melancholy- and spirited-filled sets backed by a band including his three children.
DEADLY SHOOTING IN UTAH
One police officer was killed, five others injured in a drug-related shootout in Utah, as they tried to serve a search warrant. The suspect was also shot and taken to a local hospital.

15-YEAR-OLD TEXAS STUDENT SHOT TO DEATH AFTER STANDOFF WITH POLICE
School officials in Brownsville, Texas want to find out how a 15-year-old student, killed by police yesterday, brought a pellet gun onto campus. They told police that a student who was assaulting another student had a gun. Police fired at Jaime [[ HYE-may ]] Gonzalez inside Cummings Middle School when he refused to drop the weapon and pointed the gun at them.
TWIN BIRTH-RATE UP FOR OLDER WOMEN BECAUSE OF IN-VITRO
The birth rate of twins in the U.S. is twice that of three decades ago. A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows one in every 30 babies born in 2009 was a twin. That's compared to one in every 53 back in 1980. Researchers say the increase in twin births in mostly due to an increase in fertility treatments like in-vitro fertilization.
