FROST ADVISORY
Some people woke up to some patchy frost this morning, about a week ahead of schedule. On average, Nashville's first freeze of the fall usually happens one week from today.  And, we're not done. There are two more cold fronts coming through this week, that'll keep temperatures down. 

FALL TEMPS ARRIVE EARLY
As the completely grammatically-incorrect saying goes, "Fall has FELL!" 
And just in time for the kids to bundle up and go back to school.
Fall break is over for Metro Schools, so kids are back in class today. Please be aware as you drive past schools today, that school zone speeds are back in effect.

THIS SHOCKED ME! WHEN DO YOU TURN ON THE HEAT?
Some people turned on the heat this weekend. I did. But someone also posted online that they never turn on the heat at their house until December!

DRIVER HITS DEER IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY
We've been warning you about this, and it's starting...car collisions with deer! This is the most dangerous time of year for crashes between autos and deer. A woman hit a deer in Rutherford County just this morning....she's okay, the deer is not... and the woman's car has SERIOUS damage. 
 
COUPLE ARRESTED FOR CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING
Child sex trafficking is NOT something that just happens in other countries. It happens all the time, right here in Tennessee. A couple in Johnson City has just been arrested for selling their four daughters -- ages 5 to 16 -- for sex. The children were found in deplorable health, as well, and are in child protective services. 

FOUR-YEAR-OLD WANTERS AWAY FROM MURFREESBORO PRESCHOOL
A Murfreesboro mother is upset after her four-year-old daughter was able to walk away from preschool. Even though the little girl was found shortly after, mom wants to know how they let the four year old get away from them as the kids walked out to recess. 

LOCAL SPORTS TEAMS WIN/LOSE
A lot of people are still pumped about their teams winning this weekend. Vanderbilt beat the Georgia Bulldogs 31 to 27. U.T. beat South Carolina, the Preds won and the Titans lost.

OBAMA ADDRESSES PROBLEMS WITH HEALTH CARE WEBSITE
President Obama addresses the problems with the new healthcare website today... he's holding a press conference in the White House Rose Garden and is supposed to lay out some ways for consumers to get signed up for health insurance. His team is scrambling to fix problems that have hurt the roll-out of the healthcare law.  

SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE PROGRAM STILL NEEDS HELP
We're in the final week of Angel Tree registration at the Salvation Army, people getting signed up to get some help this Christmas in the form of clothing and toys. But the Salvation Army still needs more volunteers to help get everybody registered. Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow and others have been picked for Nashville Lifestyles' list of the 25 Most Beautiful People list. It's the one with Crow on the cover this month. 

BOY SCOUT LEADER WHO TOPPLED ROCK, HAS BEEN TRYING TO  GET ON THE GOV. PAYROLL BECAUSE HE'S 'DISABLED'..
There's new information out about that Boy Scout leader who's under fire for pushing over an ancient boulder in a national park, letting someone video it and posting it online. Turns out Glenn Taylor shouldn't be physically able to do that. He claims he's permanently disabled from a car wreck, and has been trying to get on the government payroll for his 'disability.' Taylor is getting a firestorm of criticism, including calls for him to leave scouting, be banned from parks, and put on trial for attempted insurance fraud.

MURFREESBORO MAN DIES AT TALLADEGA CAMPGROUND
Investigators say a Murfreesboro man found dead at a Talladega campground probably died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Craig Franklin Morgan's wife survived, but is in critical condition at a Birmingham hospital.

FB FRIENDS ARE REAL FRIENDS! 100 SHOW UP TO DEFEND BULLIED KID
Some facebook friends ARE real friends! A high-school bully had been picking on another kid... and kept saying it didnt' matter because he was a loser with no friends, anyway. The bully changed his mind and apologized after fifty cars with at least 100 people showed up the next day at lunch to show that the teen DOES have friends. The bully apologized and said, "I take it back." 

PET ADOPTION FAIR FOLLOW-UP: GREAT TURNOUT DESPITE COLD, CLOUDY, WINDY WEATHER 
Thank you to all who came out to the 5th Annual Pet Adoption Fair at Mars Petcare this weekend. We had 192 dogs and cats adopted, and some are still pending. And with the cold, cloudy, windy rainy weather we had Saturday, that's AMAZING! THANK YOU.

MORE STORES JUMPING ON TO OPEN ON BROWN THURSDAY
J.C. Penney is joining the rest of the stores planning to be open at 8pm on Thanksgiving. They call it "Brown Thursday."

CLEVELAND FANS ADVERTISE ON CRAIGSLIST FOR NEW QB 
Some disgruntled Cleveland Browns fans have found a unique way to show their unhappiness with their team. They've posted the quarterback position as a job available on Craigslist.

When you meet a new man, how long before you let him see the REAL you? A new study shows women wait an average of four weeks before they'll let a new boyfriend see them without makeup.

GRAVITY STILL NUMBER ONE
"Gravity" is still number one at the box office. Next most-watched this weekend was Tom Hanks in "Captain Phillips," then horror film remake, "Carrie."

HEADSTONE PUT UP, TAKEN DOWN, FOR WALTER WHITE
A fake headstone for a fake person is missing -- for real.  A service was held on Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the funeral of Walter White of AMC's "Breaking Bad" fame.  The event was criticized by people who have loved ones at the park.  More than 600 had petitioned to remove the phony grave for the fictional television character.  His headstone turned up missing one day after the funeral.

ALLIGATOR FORCES WALMART TO LOCK DOORS
Customers and workers dealt with an unwelcome intruder at a Walmart in Central Florida.
A 6-foot gator slithered up to the Apopka store's entryway Sunday morning and stayed there, causing the automatic doors to open and close.

ELLEN PAYS BACK WAITTRESS WHO PAID IT FORWARD
A New Hampshire waitress who picked up the lunch tab of two National Guard soldiers affected by the federal government's shutdown has been repaid - more than 300 times over - by television star Ellen DeGeneres.  Sarah Hoidahl, a waitress in Concord, N.H., just wanted to do a nice thing for the soldiers, so she paid for their lunch. It cost her $27.75. On Friday, DeGeneres squared the tab and then some, giving Hoidahl $27.75 in cash and a check for $10,000.... plus, a 50-inch flat-screen TV.  Hoidahl buried her face in her hands and thanked DeGeneres as the talk show host repeated, "You're a good person."

NBC has canceled "Ironside" and "Welcome to the Family."

SHOWS RENEWED:
CBS has approved several new comedies for full seasons. That means producers have to come up with nine additional episodes of "Mom," "The Millers" and "The Crazy Ones."
