MAN WITNESSES BOSTON BOMB AND TEXAS EXPLOSION
People keep asking Joe Berti if he feels unlucky. He was at the Boston Marathon on Monday, when the bomb exploded seconds after he finished the race and then, he was driving back to his home in Texas, when he saw the fertilizer plant explode near Waco. He says, "I was just like, 'I can't believe this!"' Berti says he feels fortunate, because he was so close to both tragedies, but came out completely unhurt.

F-BOMB EXCEPTION BECAUSE IT WAS SAID, 'FROM THE HEART'
Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, also known as Big Papi, will not be fined for dropping an f-bomb during a speech broadcast live before Saturday's home game against Kansas City. The FCC made the rare exception because they say Ortiz spoke from the heart when he said, "This is our f-ing city, and nobody's going to dictate our freedom." The FCC tweeted that they stand with Big Papi and the people of Boston.

HOT ON FACEBOOK: PHOTO OF AGENT TAKING MILK TO FAMILY
Even more popular on Facebook this weekend than comments about the great weather, were the posts of that photo of a law enforcement officer carrying a gallon of milk in each hand to a family with small kids in the Boston area. He took them the milk when they were under lockdown during the manhunt and couldn't get out. SEE THE PHOTO.

BRENTWOOD, TN. DOCTOR KILLED, HUSBAND ARRESTED
Police have arrested Brentwood man Randolph Maidens. They think he shot his wife, Dr. Rachel Maidens, at the couple's home on Governor's Way last night, then fled. He was captured when he walked out of the woods behind his home. Cops had called in a SWAT Team, K9 units, and helicopters. A neighbor says she had a strange encounter with Maidens several weeks ago, seeing him running through the woods behind the house carrying what looked like a quiver and wearing a black ski mask, but it's not clear whether she called police at the time.
