There are people doing random acts of kindness all the time, you just don't hear about them. But a tourist visiting New York City caught a photo of this one on her cellphone: a New York City Police officer says he was on his beat, he was freezing cold, and then he saw a homeless man with no shoes. You can NOT rely on your dog to be your home security and guard all those gifts under the tree this season. Even if you have a big ferocious-looking dog. In a recent test to see how secure dogs make one's house, safety experts faked some break-ins, and in every case, the dogs either ran and hid, they followed the fake burglar around the house hoping to be petted, or in one case, an 85 pound Rottweiller named Roxie actually did tricks for the phony burglar, waving her front paw at him trying to shake hands, and licking his face.
