SEARCH CALLED OFF FOR MISSING CARNIVAL CRUISE COUPLE
The search for a young couple missing at sea after they went overboard from a cruise ship in the Pacific was called off Friday. 
Paul Rossington, 30 and Kristen Schroder, 27, were reported missing on Thursday morning when the Carnival Spirit docked in Sydney, Australia, after a 10-day cruise. Surveillance cameras showed they had gone over the side on Wednesday evening.  Two passengers have gone missing from the Carnival Spirit cruise ship in Australia, and a day later they haven't been found. Investigators are trying to figure out whether the man and woman fell or jumped off the ship.

DNA TESTING TO SEE IF OHIO SUSPECT LINKED TO OTHER MURDERS
Ariel Castro's DNA released to check for links to any other crimes - including the rape and murder of a newspaper girl in 1981. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation lab staff is rushing the DNA testing to provide investigators with results. The process usually takes around 22 days, but the lab can complete the testing in 24 to 48 hours if necessary. The FBI will find out later today if there are any matches with any profiles in the database.

HEALTH MONEY GOES TO HELP UNINSURED GET ENROLLED
Uninsured Americans will get some help finding health coverage. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has announced new funding that'll go to community health centers to help people see what insurance options they have and help them get signed up.

FIFTH AVENUE NORTH BEING CONVERTED TO TWO-WAY THIS WEEKEND
There's a traffic situation this weekend downtown that you need to know about. Crews are still working to switch Fifth Avenue North from a one-way street to a two-way street.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL STORY
Zach Sobiech (SO bee ECK) is my HERO! The 17 year-old has a rare and deadly form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. He was told last summer he had only months to live. He wrote a song to say goodbye. It's called "Clouds," and it's become a phenomenon. Clouds has been covered by groups from around the world, including celebrities like Jason Mraz and Colbie Callait, and school kids from Japan and here in the states. You can see the video of the Celebrities lip-synching Zach's song HERE.
So far Zach Sobiech has raised more than 50 thousand dollars to find a cure for osteosarcoma.

DOLLY PARTON STILL WANTS NASHVILLE ATTRACTION
Hey, we could still get a great new theme park in Nashville after all. Dolly Parton says she will "definitely" open a new Nashville attraction, "at some point." Parton and Gaylord were in talks last year to build a water and snow park, but the deal fell through when Gaylord sold the operating rights for Opryland to Marriott. Right now Dolly says she's gearing up for her 28th season at Dollywood.

DAVIDSON ELECTION ADMINISTRATOR FIRED
Davidson County Election Administrator Albert Tieche has been fired over his handling of the 2012 primary election. Problems included failing to open the polls on a Saturday during early voting, malfunctioning machines that sometimes defaulted to the Republican ballot, and shortages of poll workers, forms, parking and phone lines. 

SPACE STATION CREW PLANS SPACEWALK TO DO REPAIR
NASA is trying to figure out how to repair an ammonia leak at the International Space Station. Something to do with the cooling system. NASA says there's no danger to the six astronauts and cosmonauts aboard. 

AMERICAN IDOL
Kree Harrison and Candice Glover are heading to the finale on Fox TV's "American Idol."  Massachusetts native Angie Miller was sent home last night.

NASHVILLE SCHOOL BECOMES FIRST IN NATION TO HAVE STUDENT-RUN LABEL AFFILIATED WITH MAJOR RECORD LABEL
Congratulations to Pearl-Cohn Magnet High School! It's become the first school in the nation to house a student run LABEL, that's affiliated with a major record label. They've just unveiled their new 1.2 million dollar recording studio, and say any profits they make will go toward music education.

NEVER GIVE UP ON FINDING LOVE!
A 106-year-old Australian woman - who has never been married - says she has finally found the love of her life, and he's a much younger man. Marjorie Hemmerde's "boy toy" is 73. They met at the nursing home where they both live.

MOTHER'S DAY THIS WEEKEND
Whether you still have your mom with you, or she's gone on ahead, a lot of hearts and minds will be on moms this Sunday. If you don't have a mom to talk to this Mother's Day, remember there are many who would love a short visit, in nursing homes and retirement centers. Happy Mother's Day!

AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES TO BE FIRED?
No one is safe on American Idol -- and that apparently includes the current panel of judges. There are reports that after this season all the highly-paid judges will be let go, though no word on who would replace them.

BRITAIN'S PRINCE HARRY VISIT CONTINUES
Britain's Prince Harry will lay two wreaths in Arlington Cemetery today as his visit to the U.S. continues.
