MISSING AIRLINER
We may be getting closer to finding out where the missing Malaysian jetliner went down. Chinese scientists say they detected a "seismic event" on the ocean floor about 95 miles south of Vietnam. It was near the path of the missing aircraft, it appears to be consistent with a plane crash, and happend in a normally non-seismic zone. The Malaysia Airlines jet has been missing since last Saturday.
The search area now includes the Indian Ocean, based on new information that the missing plane could have flown for hours after the final reading from its transponder.
And U.S. officials now think two communications systems on the jet shut down separately, which indicates the plane didn't experience a sudden, catastrophic event. The flight went missing last Saturday.

PHILADELPHIA FLIGHT TROUBLE
There are still some flight delays today at Philadelphia International Airport, after a tire blew on a US Airways jet as it tried to take off, causing the plane to fall forward and collapse the nosegear. Only two minor injuries, but passengers were pretty shaken up, and had to evacuate the plane through the side door.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey asked Americans what they think the most harmful substances in our lives are, and tobacco and alcohol were at the top of the list, and many people also listed sugar as a top harmful substance. THE BACON FAD IS OVER, BUT WE'RE EATING MORE THAN EVER, AS PRICES SOAR
We recently underwent a years-long period of bacon love, during which time products came out to make us look, smell and taste like bacon. Bacon deodorant, candles, lip balm. Apparently it didn't really make us BUY bacon PRODUCTS, but sales figures show Americans ARE eating more bacon than ever, even though the price has gone up 55 percent over the past four years… to 5.56 a pound. You can have steak, or you can have bacon. Many of us would choose bacon.

DELAWARE MAN WRITES HIS OWN OBIT
An 80-year-old Delaware man passed away Sunday and, to his family's surprise, wrote his own obituary. The family of Walter Bruhl Jr. discovered the secret obituary after his passing on March 9. His grandson Sam then posted it on Reddit    "Typical of my PopPop: he cut out the middleman and wrote his own obituary. He's the only man I've ever known to be able to add his own humor like this," Sam wrote on his Facebook page.  The funny obituary has since gone viral.
Bruhl even drafted his visitation and funeral specifications.  "There will be no viewing since his wife refuses to honor his request to have him standing in the corner of the room with a glass of Jack Daniels in his hand so he would appear natural to visitors." Bruhl ends his obituary by asking to substitute flowers for random acts of kindness, which has since inspired people all over the world to perform those acts in his honor.
