TWO ARRESTED IN NASHVILLE FOR HAVING METH SHIPPED TO THEM
Two people have been arrested in Nashville for picking up more than five-pounds of meth, shipped from California through FedEx. Narcotics agents caught the package when it got here, and just waited to see who came to pick it up. Police think the two were taking the meth to Crockett County to sell.
FEDERAL INDICTMENT SAYS FEDEX KNOWINGLY SHIPS DRUGS
A federal indictment says FedEx has been shipping powerful prescription drugs for illegal online pharmacies, and that the company knowingly delivered drugs to dealers and addicts.
Recovery crews now have a second black box from a Malaysian airliner shot down over Ukraine. The jet was carrying nearly 300 people when it was hit by a surface-to-air missile yesterday. Ukraine's president calls the tragedy a "terrorist action."
Arizona Senator John McCain wants American troops to be deployed to support Ukraine against Russian separatists, saying if Ukraine had weapons, yesterday's missile strike on the Malaysian jet wouldn't have happened.
JASON BIGGS' TASTELESS TWEET
American Pie and Orange is the New Black actor Jason Biggs is now apologizing for tweeting a joke about the airline crash. Biggs tweeted, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" He apologized later.
WILDFIRES IN WASHINGTON STATE
Hundreds of people are having to evacuate their homes because of wildfires burning in Washington state. Thousands of acres have burned so far.
VERIZON WIRELESS HIRING 300 PEOPLE
You know someone who needs a job? Please tell them that Verizon Wireless is hiring. They need 300 people for call centers in Franklin and Murfreesboro, and for Verizon stores in the Nashville area. CAMERA CATCHES GUNMAN ENTERING THROUGH DOGGIE DOOR IN SPRING HILL
If you have doggie door at your house, here's why you might want to consider getting one of those metal plates you can buy, to lock it down. A Spring Hill couple woke up Tuesday morning and were STUNNED to see what their motion triggered security camera had captured overnight. A MAN with a HANDGUN, using the doggie door to get into the house! THEY slept right through it.. the FOUR dogs didn't bark as the guy walked around inside their home for nine minutes then left, empty-handed. The Spring Hill couple says they could've been shot dead in their beds! Police say this should be a reminder to all of us to make our pet doors secure.

FACEBOOK GROUP WANTS TO SAVE PRINTERS ALLEY
There are a bunch of people upset over new changes planned for Nashville. Developers have announced they're closing down some businesses in Printers' Alley and planning a big boutique hotel there. And many locals are upset about it.
They've started a Facebook page. More than five thousand people have liked the page since it was started a couple of days ago. The buildings that're in the process of being closed are the ones that house Brass Stables, Lonnie's Western Room, Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar, and several restaurants.
KELLY RIPA: 'BOTOX HAS CHANGED MY LIFE'
Seems like it's the trend among celebrities to swear they haven't had 'anything done' even when they're pulled so tightly they could talk through their belly buttons. But actress/show host Kelly Ripa says she uses Botox and doesn't care who knows. She says it's changed her life, and cut her getting ready time in half. The 43 year old says she's not advocating one way or the other, but isn't going to hide it.

A new study finds that married men and women with children are more likely to cheat than couples without kids. Many of them said, basically, "marriage is harder than I thought it would be."

A Connecticut state trooper could be sentenced to a year and a half in prison, after pleading guilty to stealing cash and a gold chain from a dying accident victim. The trooper was caught on his dash cam.

American blues guitarist and singer Johnny Winter has passed away. The 70 year old, ranked as one of world's finest guitarists, died Wednesday in a hotel room in Switzerland.
ELAINE STRITCH DIES AT 89
And Elaine Stritch, the sharp-tongued actress, Broadway actress and singer who you may have known in one of her more recent TV roles, as Jack Donagee's mother on 30 Rock... has passed away. Stritch was 89.
FARMER FIGHTS HOUSING DEVELOPMENT WIHT ANIMAL SEX WARNING
A farmer in Englewood, Florida is using her animals' sex lives to keep a housing development from popping up next door. Sue Young raises sheep, chickens, and horses on her property, and she tells WWSB-TV she doesn't think the planned development will fit with the neighborhood. So she's made a sign that lets any potential newcomers know exactly what it's like living next to a farm. Her notice reads, "This property is a farm. Farms have animals. Animals make funny sounds, smell bad, and have sex outdoors." Young says nobody seems to be offended by the sign, and she and her fellow farmer neighbors hope it will keep the people who move in from trying to get rid of the farms.
