POTHOLE REPAIRS ON I-65 TODAY COULD CAUSE BACK UPS
The winter storm has moved on, but it's left behind a bunch of horribly deep potholes, and some possible traffic delays the next few weeks as TDOT crews do repair work. They say it's too cold to do the work at night, so the crews have to fix the potholes in the middle of the day.
Today (Friday) they'll be working on I-65 near Franklin, so you need to expect delays if you're headed that way. Repairs yesterday backed up traffic for miles.

MICRO BEADS BAN
Chances are really good that you, and every other woman listening this morning, have some sort of face wash, toothpaste or other personal care product with micro beads. They're teensy tiny plastic beads, that help exfoliate or clean. They've also been found to be horrible for the environment... including causing problems for water treatment systems, and fish and wildlife, and accumulating in and polluting the water. There's a bill being considered in New York to ban the manufacturing, distribution and sale of personal care products with the microbeads, and Procter and Gamble, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive and Johnson & Johnson have all agreed to start phasing them out.
