HOUSE PASSES BUDGET DEAL, NOW SENATE VOTES
The House approved a budget deal last night, the Senate is expected to vote on it next week. The two year bipartisan agreement reportedly does not raise taxes, it lowers the deficit and raises federal spending. Many Democrats are said to be upset that the deal does not include an extension of longterm unemployment benefits.
GOOD SAMARITAN HELPS STOP WOMAN DRIVING DRUNK WITH KIDS IN CAR
A guy in Murfreesboro is being called a Good Samaritan for leading police to a mother who was allegedly driving drunk with her two young children in the car. Rob Bennett says he saw a driver -- Tammy Weeks -- swerving back and forth across the road, narrowly missing mailboxes and hitting a curb. So he started following her and had his little girl call 9-1-1. She finally stopped at a liquor store, and Bennett told Weeks the cops were on the way and she should just chill. The 44-year-old failed sobriety tests and was charged with DUI and reckless endangerment. Her two kids, ages 3 anf 5, are okay.
THREE PEOPLE STABBED AFTER FOOTBALL GAME
The Chargers beat the Broncos last night... and apparently there were some people unhappy about that. Three people were stabbed after the game, maybe four, and one is in critical condition.

MONTANA WOMAN ADMITS TO SECOND DEGREE MURDER OF HUSBAND
A Montana woman accused of pushing her newlywed husband off a cliff is admitting to second-degree murder. Jordan Graham's decision came on the fourth day of her murder trial for the death of Cody Johnson at Glacier National Park.
FLU SEASON COULD BE ABOUT TO KICK INTO HIGH GEAR AT CHRISTMASTIME
Have you missed the deadline to get a flu shot? Experts say, NO! It only takes about two weeks to get full effectiveness from a flu shot and the peak flu season is around February. And it's even more important to do it now, before you're with all those friends and family members at the holidays and everybody's spreading those germs around. The CDC recommends everyone six months and older get the flu vaccine, especially people at increased risk like seniors and kids five and under.

A former employee at the Target on Charlotte Pike has been arrested for giving himself a little bonus on his last day of work. Walter Rogers allegedly went shopping, piled up more than a thousand dollars worth of merchandise that wanted, then checked himSELF out, and used coupon codes to add discount after discount, till his final bill was 3 bucks. He's been caught and arrested was arrested and will NOT get to keep his little Christmas present.
70 YEAR OLD MAN WITH DEMENTIA FOUND
A 70-year-old man with dementia who had been missing in north Nashville has been found. Thomas Mason was in a crawlspace at his sister's home. He's fine. But the weird part of that story is that he and his sister have an older brother, who went missing years ago, and he was never found. So you can imagine the family was pretty frantic.

Oprah Winfrey has opened up about why she never had children. Oprah says in a new interview that while her best friend, Gayle, was in 7th grade home Ec. class daydreaming up names for her future children... Oprah was daydreaming about how she could be Martin Luther King. She says with her goals, something in her life would have had to suffer, and she didn't want it to be children.

In Belgium, euthanasia for terminally ill adults has been legal since 2002. Now, lawmakers there are proposing lifting all age restrictions, to allow euthanasia for terminally ill children as well.

NAKED MAN IN GUITAR CASE HAD A PERFECTLY RATIONAL EXPLANATION!
Police in Oklahoma say a man found wet and naked in a guitar case had a perfectly good reason. Zackery Aders was discovered in the unusual predicament earlier this week by people checking on their cattle. He says he'd been walking across an icy pond when he fell in. He got out, ripped off all of his wet clothes and climbed into his guitar case in an effort to stay warm. That's actually the right thing to do, but it just looked weird to those who found him. Aders was taken to a nearby hospital, thawed out and sent home.
