As of Tuesday 26 West Nile virus deaths, have been reported to CDC, including 1 in TN. With West Nile on the rise, The Centers for Disease Control recommends using mosquito repellant, repairing window screens and emptying any standing water around the house including kiddie pools. Goodlettsville All-Stars Rock The Series!
Our boys won! Goodlettsville 12-1 over Kearny, NB last night at the Little League World Series!
As we support our very own Goodletteville, TN Little League team in the national little league finals this week in Williamsport, PA, the families in attendance can thank donors for helping underwrite the travel expense. One donor, Nashville attorney Blair Durham wrote a check to the Goodlettsville team for $5,000. "This is the biggest moment in these young adults lives. It's hard to get sympathy when you are an I.R.S. man! George Albright, an Internal Revenue Service employee from Antioch was sentenced to two years in prison on Wednesday for filing made-up tax returns that made him $9,600 richer. He culled taxpayer names from IRS records and filed fake returns. Federal officials will supervise Albright for one year following his prison sentence. He is also required to repay the money he stole from the federal government.To read more...
