No one was killed in the 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck the Napa Valley region of California Sunday morning. Over 120 were injured. As aftershocks continue for the next several weeks, people are warned that already weakened buildings could collapse. The quake was the strongest to hit the Bay Area since 1989.

Sunday was the seventh annual International Go Topless Day and women around the world marched topless in support of women's rights. The movement states as its mission "As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests." One of the biggest events was in Manhattan, where the topless marchers descended on Times Square.

It's true that everyone wants to come to Music City. The Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation says the city received more hotel occupancy tax money in the last fiscal year than ever before -- nearly $45 million. In October, March, and June, the city broke records for the most hotel tax money ever collected in a single month.

Bob Barker returns to CBS Thursday when he plays himself on an episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful." Bob overhears the character Wyatt calling animal lovers "stupid" and "wacko" and tries to talk some sense into the boy . When Wyatt doesn't get the message, Barker goes all "Happy Gilmore" on his butt and clocks the guy, sending him flying into the mud. This is what happens when you don't have your former game show hosts spayed and neutered.

Miley Cyrus won Video of the Year last night at MTV's Video Music Awards, and yes they still have these awards. But Instead of giving a pointless acceptance speech, she sent a young guy up to the stage to talk about the issue of youth homlessness. And she didn't twerk even once during the speech.  Also, the queen of the music biz, Beyonce, took home the Michael Jackson Vido Vanguard Award last night at MTV's VMA's. And she was working hard to end the rumors that her marriage is in trouble. Hubby Jay Z took to the stage carrying their baby girl Blue Ivy.

Michael Brown, the 18-year old fatally shot in Ferguson, Missouri will be laid to rest today His father says he just wants one thing: peace. "Please, please take a day of silence so I can, so we can, lay our son to rest. Please. It's all I ask," Michael Brown Sr. said at a rally in St. Louis on Sunday. His death, as you recall, sparked days of violent protests in the St. Louis suburb, but things have calmed down the past several days.

Scientists in Mexico are scratching their heads over an almost mile long crack that has opened up in the northern part of the country. The gully, up to 30 feet deep and 15 feet across. While some believe seismic activity is to blame -- the USGS reports Mexico is one of the world's most seismically active areas, and a magnitude 5.0-quake occurred earlier this month off the coast near Hermosillo -- others point to an underground stream that eroded the ground above it. Say it with me--the crack is whack!
