EBOLA RESPONSE TEAM CALLED TO NEW YORK CITY
The newly formed federal Ebola response team gets tested out today in New York City.  Members of the unit are arriving there to treat Dr. Craig Spencer, who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea, and has now tested positive for the disease. They're also being sent to help contain it, and make sure the newly laid-out preventive procedures are followed, to the letter.

ARREST MADE IN VANDY RAPE ATTEMPT
Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly tried to kidnap a college student on the Vanderbilt University campus late last month. And they caught him, several states away.. in St. Augustine, Florida, yesterday, during a traffic stop. 38 year old Scott Wallace is accused of  tackling a student and throwing her to the ground on the Vandy campus early Sept 21st. She got away with minor injuries... Wallace will be brought here to face charges.

ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION USED, IN TREATING PATIENT FOR EBOLA IN NASHVILLE
A patient at TriStar Summit Hospital who allegedly had contact with someone from Nigeria is being treated for Ebola... .. out of an "abundance of caution."  The Metro Health Department says the patient had no symptoms but was worried about possible exposure to Ebola, but they're treating the person anyway, just to be safe. Nigeria was declared Ebola-free on Monday.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
And so you'll have the information when someone mentions it, Daylight Saving time ends NOT THIS WEEKEND, but Halloween Weekend! Spring forward, Fall Back.. so that means at 2am Sunday, it'll suddenly become 1am. An extra hour of sleep, or an extra hour of work for overnight shifters.

WOMEN MORE STRESSED THAN THEY LET ON
You know that saying about, "You never know what burdens other people are carrying"? It's true. A new Working Moms survey found 80% of women asked, say they feel extremely stressed about getting everything done and feeling overwhelmed.  And one in four of them, say they're so stressed that they cry at least once a week. So be nice to the people you see today. You never know what they're dealing with.

OVER 100 SNAKES FOUND IN FAMILY'S HOME
Hopefully, they're not dealing with this: snakes in the house. Oh, and not just a stray one brought in by the family pet...  A family in Canada found a few little bitty garter snakes in their basement, Then in the family room, then in the laundry room. Turns out there was a nest of them down there... more than a hundred, so far. The local animal shelter helped carry them out in buckets and pillowcases loaded with snakes.  So far they haven't seen anymore but you can bet they're looking twice before they sit down, anywhere!

ANIMALS LEFT IN ABANDONED WHITE HOUSE PET STORE
The owners of a pet shop in White House, Tennessee are facing animal cruelty charges, after they allegedly abandoned their business with some small animals still inside, a Pixie African Bullfrog at least 60 mice and rats... all were rescued from Gone Wild Exotic and taken to another pet store. Some of the little animals had died.

HONEY BOO BOO
It may be bye bye for Boo Boo. TLC is reassessing the future of the show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" after word that Mama June is dating a convicted child molester.

POLICE OFFICER WOUNDED WITH AXE
A New York police officer is in critical but stable condition after a guy walked up and attacked him with an axe. The attacker was shot and killed byu another officer.... 

INTERNATIONAL GROUP WANTS MISSOURI POLICE INVESTIGATED
An international organization wants Missouri police officers investigated for alleged human rights abuses.  Amnesty International says the use of rubber bullets, tear gas and military equipment during protests over the Michael Brown shooting "violated international standards."

"NASHVILLE" TV SHOW TO FEATURE PART OF REAL-LIFE NASHVILLE AWARDS SHOW
The ABC drama Nashville is using more of what makes Music city fun, our celebraitons, for an upcoming episode. November 19th, the show will have an episode focusing on the CMA Awards: "Country Music's Biggest Night," and they'll use real local stars for the episode. The real 48th annual CMA Awards take place November 5th.  "Nashville" and the CMA Awards both air on ABC.

WORLD SERIES
The World Series shifts to San Francisco tonight for Game Three between the Kansas City Royals and the Giants.  The best-of-seven matchup is tied at a game apiece.

MISSING NASHVILLE BOY FOUND IN ATLANTA
First, an update on that missing eleven year old Nashville boy. He's been found safe, in downtown Atlanta. Nathan Long claims he got there on the Megabus, which is not supposed to let minors travel alone. So now there's an investigation about why they let an eleven year old travel, unaccompanied.

U.S. Health officials are setting up a go-to network of about 20 hospitals...

STATE DEPARTMENT: BANNING VISAS WILL NOT HELP FIGHT EBOLA 
The State Department says it is NOT considering a ban on travel visas from West Africa to the U.S. because travelers would find underground ways of getting into the country, making it harder to contain the disease.

HEALTHCARE WORKERS GET NEW GUIDELINES FOR EBOLA
Better late than never. We have some new guidelines in effect for healthcare workers who treat Ebola patients including, above all else, making sure the doctors and nurses receive training and show they're ready to treat people infected with the deadly disease.

EBOLA LATEST
The first person diagnosed with Ebola outside of Africa seems to be cured. It's a nurses' aid in Spain who's now testing negative for Ebola.

BODY OF MISSING VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY STUDENT FOUND
TV stations in Charlottesville, Virginia are reporting that a body has been found that law enforcement officials say is the missing University of Virginia Student Hannah Graham.
