NEW POLL ABOUT EBOLA 
A new poll shows about 50-percent of Americans say they won't get on international flights because they're worried about the Ebola outbreak in West
Africa. 

SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR FRANKLIN MAN
Amber alerts are for missing kids, and for about five years now, we've had the new SILVER alerts for missing older folks... who may have some sort of dementia or other mental disability. . There's a Silver Alert in effect for a Franklin man ... who's been missing since yesterday afternoon... 85-year-old Earl Ferari. He was last seen at First Presbyterian church in Franklin where he left with a food donation to take to a local group home... but... he never got there. He was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Touareg with tags K77 45D. You're asked to call Franklin police if you see him.  615-794-2513.

BRENTWOOD NAMES TENNESSEE'S "eCity"
Brentwood has been named Tennessee's eCity, an honor they get for having the strongest online business community in the state, and for using the internet most effectively to find and connect with customers.

ADULTS CHARGED FOR GIVING MADISONVILLE, TN KID BOOZE
A 17 year old in Madisonville, Tennessee admits he messed up, bigtime, drinking at a party. He drank so much that he went into a coma and nearly died. Doctors say Brandon Jackson had a blood alcohol level of five times the legal limit and was foaming at the mouth when paramedics got to him. He has pulled through, but now faces charges for underage drinking, and two adults, are charged with giving alcohol to minors.

WOMAN SAYS THEFT WAS SCAVENGER HUNT
Here's what NOT to do when you're caught, rummaging through someone's car, in their garage, stealing things... don't say, "Officer, I'm on a scavenger hunt, with my fiancee former Tennessee Senator Bill Frist." Also, maybe don't be so impaired you're nearly incoherent.
Police didn't buy that story when 55 year old Linda Sloan Perry tried it last night.

Survey Says 60 Percent Would Come To Work With Flu
HERE'S why you MUST wash your hands...and get your flu shot. A new survey says SIXTY percent of us admit we will ABSOLUTELY come to work with the flu. We say the main reason is the workload.

RECORD 44 PERCENT TO DO HOLIDAY SHOPPING ONLINE
Have you started shopping yet, for the holidays? Many people say they have, and more people than ever say they'll shop online. 44 percent of people surveyed said they're going online rather than in stores. The National Retail Federation's annual survey also found 55% of us say we're going to spend at least 125 dollars on OURSELVES this Christmas... and overall that electronics will still be the most popular gifts this year.

YOUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME SAYS A LOT ABOUT YOUR PERSONALITY
Your Halloween costume says a lot about your personality without you even saying a word.  Doctor Scott Bea with the Cleveland Clinic says costumes allow people to show a side they usually hide.  For example, if you dress like a celebrity you're showing you have a sense of power and popularity.  If you wear a monster costume, you're expressing your dark side without feeling guilty.  In the end, Doctor Bea says choosing a costume is all about fun.

MAN RECOVERING FROM BRAIN TUMOR ASKS GIRLFRIEND TO MARRY HIM AT PUMPKIN PATCH 
Here's your good news story for today: A Tullahoma man found the perfect way to propose to his girlfriend... he wrote, "Will you Marry Me?" on a pumpkin, and when the two went on their annual trip to pick one out.. he led her to it, dropped to one knee and proposed. She cried a little. And you know what makes the story even sweeter? Nicholas Smith probably cried a little, too.. .because he's just thankful to be AROUND these days! He just went through surgery to remove a brain tumor, then radiation and chemo. We wish you many happy years together Nicholas and Rebeccah.

SOME MUSIC NEWS: GLENN CAMPBELL
Glenn Campbell's new video for his final song release, is just heartbreaking. The song is called "I'm not gonna Miss You," and shares photos of his life, and career. What makes it so touching is that the 78-year-old singer is in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease.  A new documentary about him hits movie theaters next week. (Oct. 24.)

CDC ON EBOLA
The CDC is looking at putting the 76 Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas workers who treated Thomas Duncan on the no-fly list.  A source tells CNN the move is a possibility after nurse Amber Vinson traveled from Dallas to Cleveland and back.  She allegedly had a low-grade fever when she flew from Cleveland to Dallas on Monday, but says a CDC worker told her it was okay to get on the plane. 

TROOPS COMING BACK FROM WEST AFRICA COULD BE QUARANTINED
American troops serving in West Africa could be quarantined for Ebola after returning home.

A second Dallas healthcare worker is testing positive for Ebola. It's someone else who helped care for Ebola patient Thomas Duncan, who died last week.

NEAR-RECORD RAIN, FLOODING.
It is still raining in Middle Tennessee: MOSTLY light rain, but we're already saturated, so even that can cause problems. News 2 meteorologist Justin Bruce says this was our second wettest October since we've been keeping records. We got more than 2 inches of rain yesterday, nearly 7 for the month (we average less than 3 inches of rain in all of October). And there's more on the way.

SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE THIS EVENING, INTO TUESDAY MORNING
Middle Tennessee could see a rare October severe weather outbreak Monday night into Tuesday morning.
A front that has been around the region for the better part of a week is moving north, allowing warm and moist air to move into Tennessee Monday.

14-YEAR-OLD GIRL MISSING FROM COLUMBIA
A 14-year-old girl is missing in Columbia, Tennessee... Kaitlyn Swafford, who police say checked herself out of school with a forged note, and hasn't been seen since by family members.

MAN ALLEGEDLY REPORTS ROBBERY OF MONEY HE LOST GAMBLING
53-year-old Claude Timberlake of Nashville has been arrested for filing a false police report.
