The World Health Organization is now saying that cell phones can cause brain tumors. That has been a rumor for a while but now that the WHO is on board, does that concern you? Would you give up your cell phone?

Smoking is still technically legal, but legislators are making it as difficult as possible. Beginning this week, smoking is not allowed in outdoor public spaces around New York City, including beaches, parks and plazas. That means Central Park, Yankee Stadium, the Coney Island boardwalk and so on -- or everywhere else! The ban is designed to help curb exposure to secondhand smoke as well as reduce litter.  Cigarette butts account for 75% of the litter found on New York City beaches, according to a news release from the New York Mayor's office.
