Something to Inspire You

As many of you know, my wife, C.J., and I are adopting a little girl from China. We have been in the process now for 5 years and the end of the road is finally near.

We should be getting a picture of our beautiful little girl in the next week or two.

If you know anyone who has done an international adoption you know how expensive the process is. C.J. and I are doing a really cool fundraiser right now that not only helps us get our baby girl home, but it also helps a local widow.

We partnered with the Both Hands Foundation and put together a team of 50 people to help work on a widow's house that was in real need of repair.

On August 28th our team went to her house and worked tirelessly to restore her home. Here is the video of the stories and the workday. The video was done by my good friend Jim McCarthy. It may well be the best 7 minutes you spend all day. I've seen it dozens of times and I still can't get through it without tearing up.

If you are interested in helping us out with our adoption fund raising, please click on this link and scroll down to our picture. 100% of the money given goes to help our adoption and if we raise more than we need, the rest goes to help other people with their adoptions, so it's impossible to give too much.

I hope you enjoy the video, please let me know what you think.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!
