Pumpkin Carving Inspiration
So our annual Pumpkin Carving event is this weekend. Its a night of pumpkin guts, kids hoped up on sugar and parents trying to be Picasso. Let me explain myself.... This has been an annual event for several years. We invite all our friends who have kiddos and spend the night carving sweet pumpkin faces, eating pizza and celebrating the end of Fall Break -- take that however you will.
Anyways... Thanks for the creations of Martha Stewart I can personally say I have tried to step up my pumpkin carving to create works of art. Those works of art tend to look like a hot mess by the time I am done, but at least I try. I am not the only parents that does it either. Have you ever opend up the Pumpkin Carving book that comes with the safety knives. There is always one in the group that decides they are going to master the most amazing carving. Sometimes...well truthfully, most times it never looks like it supposed to.
I wanted to share with you some of the cool pinterest ideas that are coming out for this year's pumpkin carving time. Plus some helpful hints mixed in so that your pumpkin won't mold and become a porch blob.
