Our Adoption Journey
Many of you have been following our (very) long process of adopting our beautiful baby girl from China.
C.J. and I have good news! It looks like we are about 30 to 60 days from finding out who she is and where she is. We will then travel to China to get her about six weeks after that.
I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are. We started the process almost five years ago, and to know that our daughter is almost here is incredible.
Some of you have asked if there is any way you can help with the process. We are getting ready to do one last, big, fundraiser. We are doing a "Both Hands" project. It's based on the biblical principle of helping the widows and the orphans.
On August 28, 2010 a team of our friends will join us to spend the day fixing up a widow's house. There are two ways you can help, if you feel led. First, please pray for our team, for the widow and for our daughter. Second, if you would like to sponsor our day of work you can donate here. (Just scroll down the page until you see our family's picture).
Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to ask about our adoption and keep it in your prayers. We are very thankful.
As soon as we have pictures of our daughter, I will post them here.
