Mick's Book Buddies

Mick the Moose

In the fall of 2006, a new, community-focused program was born—-Mick’s Book Buddies. Together Mix 92.9 and area schools were able to build a partnership that focused on impacting the lives of children. Mick’s Book Buddies encourages children to read and promotes the benefits associated with reading.

Each Friday, Mick the Moose, visits local elementary schools, reads a pre-selected book and oversees an activity related to the featured book. Mick the Moose has visited and read to approximately 12,000 Middle Tennessee students, Pre-K through 4th grade.

Take the joy of reading home by clicking the book titles below to print off your activity!
