DRIVERS RESCUE FELLOW DRIVER ON VIETNAM VETERANS BLVD THURSDAY
While thousands of drivers were stuck in that traffic jam on Vietnam Veterans Boulevard yesterday morning, here's what was happening up ahead. There were drivers working together to help pull a man out of his overturned SUV near Conference Drive.
Police say 45 year old Gerald Freeman's tire blew and his vehicle rolled.

BONNAROO KICKS OFF TONIGHT

The Bonnaroonies are here, and more are on the way. The gates opened last night in Manchester for the 13th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The first shows are tonight, and headliners include Elton John, Jack White, Lionel Richie and Kanye West. They're expecting 80 thousand people to attend.

FRIENDLY FIRE KILLS FIVE U.S. SERVICEMEMBERS
Five U.S. servicemembers have been killed in Afghanistan... when a coalition jet called in to help ward off a Taliban attack mistakenly bombed them. American and Afghan forces are working on a security operation ahead of Saturday's presidential election.

We had some severe storms overnight in some parts of Middle Tennessee. That means that today, all that rain continues to flow back into the streams and creeks, and we have several counties under a flash flood warning until 9, including Dickson, Hickman, Maury and Williamson County. That's a flash flood WARNING for those counties, till nine this morning.

It looks like a lightning strike is responsible for a fire that burned Trinity Church of the Nazarene on Vultee Boulevard near the Nashville airport ..

CMA WEEK INFO YOU'LL NEED

STONES RIVER TOURS
The National Parks Service is offering free tours of the Stones River National Cemetery in Murfreesboro this summer. The tours are conducted by a park ranger by lantern light, featuring stories from diaries of men who died in the Civil War.
