U.S. TO DO FLYOVERS TO FIND KIDNAPPED GIRLS
The United States is now flying manned surveillance missions over Nigeria in hopes of finding more than 200 kidnapped schoolgirls, taken nearly a month ago by a militant Islamist group.

SOME PEOPLE FORGOTTEN ON MOTHER'S DAY
Although you couldn't watch anything or listen to anything without hearing about Mother's Day this weekend, today might be a good day to reach out to people you may know who may feel like they were left out. Not everyone has a mother who's still living, and not everyone has become a mother. Some have furbabies instead, and more and more these days there are children with drug-addicted mothers, kids who are taken away from their parents because of abuse or neglect, parents and kids who are estranged, or kids being raised by other family members.

U.S. MILITARY OFFICIALS ARRIVE IN NIGERIA TO HELP IN SEARCH FOR KIDNAPPED GIRLS
U.S. military officials are arriving in Nigeria today to help in the search for hundreds of kidnapped schoolgirls.  Islamist militants who abducted nearly 300 girls have said they'll sell them as slaves.  The Americans working out of the U.S. Embassy will provide expertise in intelligence, investigations, and hostage negotiations.

HOUSE VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEET OVER VA PROBLEMS
Members of the House Veterans Affairs Committee meet today to figure out what's going on and what to do about the growing problems with the
Veterans Administration. There are serious issues with patient care at VA health clinics in Arizona and Colorado, and dozens of veterans may
have died while waiting for appointments to be set at the VA clinic in Phoenix.... and paperwork falsified to hide the fact.

TEENAGER CAUGHT BEFORE SCHOOL ATTACK
Police think the arrest of a Minnesota teenager may have averted a tragedy. According to authorities in Waseca, Minnesota, John David LaDue, 17, was going to kill his family, start a diversionary fire, set off bombs at an area school, kill the resource officer there and then shoot students. 
But because of watchful eyes, he is now behind bars.
"This case is a classic example of citizens doing the right thing and calling the police when things seem out of place.

FLORIDA JAIL EXPLOSION
At least two inmates are dead and as many as 150 other inmates and corrections officers are hurt... after a suspected gas explosion at a Pensacola, Florida jail overnight.

NEW JERSEY STUDENTS ARRESTED
Dozens of New Jersey high school kids have just started their criminal careers, and are in custody this morning. They're accused of breaking into Teaneck High School and trashing it overnight... urinating on the floors, smashing water balloons and turning over desks.

SECOND PERSON CHARGED, THIRD EXPECTED TO BE, IN HOLLY BOBO CASE
A 2nd person has been charged in the Holly Bobo case. Jason Autry is now charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and first degree felony murder. There are reports that prosecutors plan to indict at least one more person in the case: Shayne Austin, who had been granted immunity from prosecution for his cooperation in the investigaiton.

TORNADO OUTBREAK FOLLOW-UP
At least 11 deaths have been reported in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee with this last round of tornadoes and storms. Overall, there've been at least 29 deaths... and more than a hundred tornadoes reported, since Sunday.

TORNADO KILLS 2 IN LINCOLN COUNTY, CAUSES DAMAGE ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE
2 of the deaths last night were from a tornado that hit Fayetteville, in Lincoln County, Tennessee.. just a few miles north of the Tennessee/Alabama state line.Homes and an elementary school were destroyed.
