CASTRO FOUND DEAD IN CELL
53-year-old Ariel Castro is dead. The Ohio man sentenced last month to life in prison plus 1000 years for kidnapping and raping three girls ... and holding them hostage for a decade, apparently committed suicide. He was found hanging in his cell last night.

OBAMA MEETS TO DISCUSS SYRIA
President Obama will meet with top Congressional leaders this afternoon on Syria.  They'll be briefed on intelligence and plans for a possible military strike against the country.  Obama is supporting a so-called "shot across the bow" for Syria in the interest of U.S. national security.

U.S. MILITARY STRIKE AGAINST SYRIA
American military members, and money, look to be headed into another conflict. Senior U.S. officials say a military strike against Syria may come as early as tomorrow, and could include three days of missile attacks, which would be meant to send a message to the Syrian President rather than knock him from power.

DISASTER HELP

Parts of Middle Tennessee have been declared a disaster by the government after the flash flooding earlier this month. This means that many with damages are eligible for low-interest federal loans to make repairs. You have through October to apply for assistance for physical damage and until next May to apply for assistance for economic injuries. This declaration covers Nashville, plus parts of Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties.

TROUBLE FOR EX-TITAN

Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck spent some time Saturday night in the hoosegow after an apparant altercation with a cab driver. The driver, Habib Hashi, said Bulluck became enraged when told the cab was already taken and swiped $100 bucks from his hand and choked him. In a statement, Bulluck hints it didn't happen exactly like that. Court records show that the driver, Hashi, has been convicted in the past for filing a false accident report.

TRAFFIC INFO FOR THIS WEEKEND
I-24 TO HAVE JUST ONE LANE OPEN AT MURFREESBORO
Interstate 24 will be reduced to one lane eastbound this weekend for repairs to a bridge in Murfreesboro. An oversize load damaged the Epps Mill Road bridge at exit 89 in February.  Eastbound travel will be reduced to a single lane at 8 p.m. CDT Friday through 6 a.m. Monday.  Workers will attach a steel plate to a beam under the bridge to strengthen it.  TDOT will use portable message boards to alert drivers of the expected travel delays.

WORLD LEADERS CONSIDER MILITARY ACTION AGAINST SYRIA
World leaders are considering military action against Syria, a day after an alleged chemical weapons attack by the government killed hundreds of people near Damascus.  France's foreign minister says if the attack is confirmed, the appropriate international response would be the use of force.
