POLICE INVESTIGATE STONES RIVER MALL ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION Police warn you to be extra cautious when you're shopping... especially in Murfreesboro, where a man tried to kidnap a woman Wednesday night at Stones River Mall. The 56-year-old victim told police she'd opened the door of her van, then turned to find a man behind her waving a handgun. He demanded she get in the vehicle, but she had the sense to run back to the store, instead.
