SCHOOL CLOSINGS/DELAYS
Most schools in the Mix listening area are closed this morning, after the rain all this weekend, and temperatures below freezing overnight. Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson County Schools are opening two hours late.

PRESIDENT SAYS WINTER OLYMPICS SAFE
President Obama says the Sochi Winter Olympics will be safe.  The President spoke with CNN as American athletes arrived in the Russian city to begin preparations for the Games.  The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for one week from today.  Obama said Americans who want to attend the Olympics should go.

ALABAMA SAYS ALL STRANDED KIDS RESCUED...
Alabama's school officials say all the 11 thousand students who were stranded at school buildings around the state because of that massive storm Tuesday night, are home and safe.

Here in Nashville, the Red Cross says there were dozens of people stranded at the Greyhound bus station, downtown...

Winter Storm Leon is still at it, causing us to keep the heat up and the water on for at least another day.  We're not expected to get above freezing today, then overnight low temperatures 10 degrees or colder.

DEADLY-COLD WEATHER IS BACK
We're back down into the potentially deadly cold weather again today, with windchill advisories in effect, which means even if you can usually run outside to check the mail without your gloves, or go start the car, you won't want to today, because a few minutes outside can start you on the way to frostbite. We have windchills today as cold as 10-below-zero. Today's also a day nobody gets to laugh at you for having hat hair.

MICHAELS REPORTS POSSIBLE BREACH OF PAYMENT INFORMATION
Michaels, the nation's biggest arts and crafts retailer, says it may have had a security data breach. Someone attacked the Michael's computer system that processes payment cards. Federal law enforcement and a computer forensics firm are investigating.

NES ASKS CUSTOMERS TO HELP CONSERVE ENERGY

Nashville Electric Service (NES) is asking you to help reduce the heavy demand on the electric system, by conserving energy as much as you can.... especially through this afternoon.... when some people will have the heat cranked to its highest. NES says it doesn't expect problems in meeting the demand, they're not anticipating any blackouts or brownouts...  but they want to keep from putting too much strain on the system.

SUMNER COUNTY BOUNTY HUNTERS HIT WRONG HOUSE AND HOLD VETERAN AGAINST HIS WILL
Two Sumner County bounty hunters face charges after they went to a wrong address and allegedly held a veteran against his will on his own property earlier this month. Mark and Angela Brummett are licensed bounty hunters and work for Community Bonding in Gallatin. But after they went to the home of 62 year old Gene Travis, targeted him with a taser, held him against his will while they searched his property looking for someone they claimed had been making meth...

FLU OUTBREAKS PROMPT MORE CONSCIENTIOUS HANDWASHING
Are you washing your hands more? More than HALF the people in a new survey say they're washing more. BUT..when they were asked what handwashing meant, very few of them said it meant washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Another new study finds it doesn't really matter if you wash with warm or cold water... just as long as you use soap, and wash for at least 20 seconds. That's still the most effective way to keep from getting sick. And when you're NOT where you can wash your hands...
