ZACHARY ADAMS' VIOLENT PAST
Now that there's been an arrest in the disappearance of 20 year old Holly Bobo, we're hearing more about the suspect's violent past. Police reports show that 29-year-old Zachary Adams shot his mother in the knee in 2004, and she and his stepdad had an order of protection against him.

They story you'll probably hear a lot of people talking about today is the breakthrough in the Holly Bobo case. Nearly three years after the nursing student  went missing from her home near Parsons, Tennessee, investigators have made an arrest.

It was very foggy this morning, so some people had a slow ride in.
A Mix 92-9 listener called in a tip that some of us hadn't heard before. She said if you're having a hard time seeing through the glare of the fog, that using polarized sunglasses might help.

Metro Davidson county schools are closed again today, so are schools in Cheatham, Clarksville, Montgomery county, Dickson, Robertson and Sumner counties... all closed.

If you don't have to drive, please stay home. There were more than 100 accidents, all at the same time, all over Nashville and middle Tennessee, as temperatures dropped and not only the bridges and overpasses iced up, but also the interstates and side roads.

EARNED INCOME CREDIT EXPANSION ON THE TABLE
A bill that would expand the Earned Income Tax Credit is now before the House of Representatives. The measure introduced Thursday by New York Democrat Charles Rangel would raise Tax Credit aid to single people and raise income limits for those without children.

ARIZONA BILL VETOED
An Arizona bill that would allow the state's businesses to refuse service to gay patrons and others based on religious belief is dead.  The Governor says she vetoed the bill because she thinks it'll cause more problems than it will solve....She says the wording is too broad.

MILITARY CUTS
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is calling for a reduction in troop levels to the smallest Army since before World War Two. Hagel said the Defense Department's proposed 2015 budget will include about a 20-percent reduction in Army troops in coming years.
          Former Vice President Dick Cheney, however, doesn't like the idea.
